Sinopec Maoming Petrochemical is likely to take off stream its No.2 Polypropylene (PP) unit. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is expected to halt operations at the unit by early-November 2025. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained. Confirmation from an authorized source could not be obtained” Located in Maoming, Guangdong in China, the No.2 PP unit has a production capacity of 200,000 mt/year.
