Sinopec Great Wall Energy operates Acetic acid plant at lower rates

Sinopec Great Wall Energy and Chemical is presently running its acetic acid plant at curtailed rates. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is running the plant at around 50% of production capacity since mid-February 2026. The reason behind the production cut could not be ascertained.” Located in Ningdong, Ningxia in China, the plant has a production capacity of 410,000 mt/year.
