Sinochem Quanzhou brings SM plant on-stream

Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical has restarted its Styrene monomer (SM) plant. A source in China informed a team member, “Operations at the plant were resumed this week following a turnaround. The plant had been shut since mid-November 2025 for maintenance.” Located in Fujian, China, the SM plant has a production capacity of 450,000 mt/year.
