Sinochem Quanzhou runs PO plant at lower rates

Sinochem Quanzhou is operating its Propylene oxide (PO) plant at curtailed capacity levels. A source in China informed a team member, "The company has been operating the plant at around 80% of production capacity levels in September 2025. The reason for the production cut remains unclear, as confirmation from an official source has not been forthcoming." Located in Fujian, China, the PO plant has production capacity of 200,000 mt/year.
