Sinochem Quanzhou takes HDPE plant off stream

Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical has reportedly shut down its High density polyethylene (HDPE) plant. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is heard to have halted operations at the plant around October 9, 2025 for maintenance. The plant is slated to remain offline for around one week.” Located in Quanzhou, Fujian in China, the plant has a production capacity of 400,000 mt/year.
