Sinochem Quanzhou is planning to take its its butadiene (BD) unit off stream. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is expected to halt operations at the unit around November 26, 2025, for a maintenance turnaround. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.” Located in Quanzhou, China, the unit has a production capacity of 120,000 mt/year.
