Sichuan Lutianhua has shut down its methanol plant in Luzhou. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is heard to have halted operations at the plant for maintenance in end-September, 2025. Details regarding the duration of the shutdown remain unclear, and verification from an official source was not available.” Located in Luzhou, Sichuan, China, the plant has a production capacity of 400,000 mt/year.
