Shenghong Refining resumes production at MEG units

Shenghong Refining and Chemical has brought onstream its Monoethylene glycol (MEG) units. A source in China informed a team member, “The company has resumed operations at the units around August 19, 2025. The units were shut for brief maintenance work in mid-August 2025.” Located in Lianyungang, Jiangsu in China, the MEG units have a production capacity of 1.9 million mt/year.
