Shenghong Refining and Chemical is likely to take off stream its phenol and acetone unit in Jiangsu. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is expected to undertake maintenance at its units during September-October 2025. However, the exact date and duration of the shutdown have not been confirmed, and the information could not be verified with an authorized source.” Located in Lianyungang, Jiangsu in China, the solvents unit has a phenol production capacity of 400,000 mt/year and acetone production capacity of 250,000 mt/year.
