Shanxi Woneng Chemical resumes production at MEG unit

Shanxi Woneng Chemical has restarted its Monoethylene glycol (MEG) unit. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is reported to have brought the unit back on stream around August 28, 2025, following a turnaround. The unit had been shut for maintenance on August 7, 2025. However, this information could not be independently confirmed with an official source.” Located in Linfen, Shanxi in China, the MEG unit has a production capacity of 300,000 mt/year.
