Shandong Yuhuang resumes production at MTBE plant

Shandong Yuhuang Chemical has restarted its Methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) plant. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is heard to have brought the plant on stream around October 13, 2025. The plant was shut for maintenance around August 13, 2025.” Located in Heze, Shandong in China, the plant has a production capacity of 520,000 mt/year.
