Shandong Hongxin lowers run rates at PA plant

Shandong Hongxin Chemical has reduced run rates at its Phthalic anhydride (PA) plant in Zibo. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is currently operating its plant at around 50% of production capacity. The reason for the production cut could not be determined, and confirmation from an official source was not available.” Located in Zibo, Shandong in China, the plant has a production capacity of 50,000 + 60,000 mt/year.
