Shaanxi Yanchang Coal Yulin Energy and Chemical has shut down its Linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) unit. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is heard to have halted operations at the unit for maintenance around October 8, 2025. Details regarding the duration of the shutdown remain unclear, and no official confirmation could be obtained.” Located in Shaanxi in China, the LLDPE unit has production capacity of 300,000 mt/year.
