Sarawak Petchem to resume operations at methanol plant

Sarawak Petchem is planning to restart its methanol plant. A source in Malaysia informed a team member, “The company is likely to bring the plant on-stream towards end March 2026. The plant was shut down in mid-January 2026.”Located in Tanjung Kidurong, Malaysia, the plant has a production capacity of 1.75 million mt/year.
