Sanfame Group is likely to shut its Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) unit. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is expected to halt operations at the unit by the end of February 2026 for maintenance. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.” Located in Jiangyin, China, the PET unit has a production capacity of 400,000 mt/year.
