Sadara Chemical brings cracker on stream

Sadara Chemical has restarted its cracker in Al Jubail. A source in Saudi Arabia informed a team member, “The company is reported to have resumed operations at its cracker around August 31, 2025. The facility had been shut on July 2, 2025, following a fire at the complex.” Located in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia, the cracker has an ethylene production capacity of 1.5 million mt/year and propylene production capacity of 400,000 mt/year.
