Rayong Olefins (ROC) is operating its aromatics unit at curtailed rates A source in Thailand informed a team member, “The aromatics unit is expected to operate at around 80-85% percent of production capacity throughout March 2026 due to feedstock availability issues amid escalating geopolitical risks in the Middle East.” Located in Map Ta Phut, Thailand, the aromatics unit has a benzene production capacity of 185,000 mt/year and toluene production capacity of 80,000 mt/year.
