RLOC takes cracker off stream for maintenance

Ras Laffan Olefins (RLOC) has halted operations at its cracker. A source in Qatar informed a team member, “The company is heard to have taken the cracker off stream in the second half of October 2025 for maintenance. The exact date and duration of the turnaround could not be ascertained.” Located in Ras Laffan, Qatar, the cracker has an ethylene production capacity of 1.3 million mt/year.
