Qinghai Zhonghao Natural Gas has shut its methanol plant in Golmud. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is heard to have halted operations at the plant in end-September, 2025 for maintenance. Further details regarding the duration of the shutdown remain unclear, as an authorized source could not be reached for confirmation.” Located in Golmud, Qinghai in China, the methanol plant has a production capacity of 600,000 mt/year.
