Asian PVC prices were mixed in the week to Aug. 20, with market participants expecting higher September offers later in the week. PVC CFR China up $30/mt week over week at $730/mt Aug. 20, in line with a trade heard at $730/mt and tradable indications heard at and above $730/mt week over week. South Korean PVC is in demand after India recommended antidumping duties of up to $232/mt on PVC imports, a Northeast Asian producer said. "Indian manufacturers want to import South Korean PVC again. Korean PVC was being sold to other regions.
