PetroChina Jilin Petrochemical has reportedly halted production at its Linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) unit. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is heard to have shut the plant for maintenance around October 11, 2025. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.” Located in Jilin, China, the unit has a production capacity of 290,000 mt/year.
