Petro China Jilin resumes operations at MMA unit

Petro China Jilin Petrochemical has restarted its Methyl methacrylate (MMA) unit. A source in China informed a team member, “Operations at the unit were resumed around February 13, 2026. It was shut down around January 26, 2026, for maintenance.” Located in Jieyang, Guangdong province of China, the MMA unit has a production capacity of 50,000 mt/year.
