Petro China Jilin brings No.1 HDPE unit on stream

PetroChina Jilin Petrochemical has restarted its No.1 High density polyethylene (HDPE) unit. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is heard to have resumed operations at the unit around September 4, 2025, following a turnaround. The unit had been shut for maintenance at the end of July 2025. However, this information could not be confirmed with an authorized source.” Located in Jilin, China, the No.1 unit has a production capacity of 320,000 mt/year.
