PetroChina Guangdong is likely to take its No.1 Linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) unit off-stream. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is expected to halt operations at the unit for maintenance over March-April 2026. The exact start date of the shutdown could not be ascertained.” Located in Jieyang, Guangdong province of China, the No.1 LLDPE unit has a production capacity of 400,000 mt/year.
