PetroChina Fushun likely to bring PP unit on stream

PetroChina Fushun Petrochemical is in plans to restart its Polypropylene (PP) unit in Liaoning. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is likely to resume operations at the unit on October 15, 2025. The unit had been shut down on August 15, 2025, for maintenance. However, no official confirmation has been received.” Located in Fushun, Liaoning in China, the PP unit has a production capacity of 300,000 mt/year.
