Orlen announces FM on supplies from Plock cracker

Orlen has declared a force majeure (FM) on supplies from its cracker in Plock. An industry source in Poland informed a team member, “The FM was declared around March 1, 2026, owing to technical issues. Details regarding the duration of the FM could not be ascertained.” Located in Plock, Poland, the cracker has an ethylene production capacity of 700,000 mt/year and propylene production capacity of 385,000 mt/year.
