OQ is in plans to halt operations at its polypropylene (PP) unit. A source in Oman informed a team member, “The company is expected to shut down the unit by the end of October 2025 for a maintenance turnaround. The unit is slated to remain offline until the end of November 2025. No official confirmation could be obtained.” Located in Sohar, Oman, the PP unit has a production capacity of 340,000 mt/year.
