Novapet is operating its one of its two Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) units at normal rates. A source in Spain informed a team member, “The company is presently running its larger unit at normal production capacity levels. The unit had been operational at curtailed run rates since early July due to economic fundamentals.” Located in Barbastro, Spain, the larger unit has a production capacity of 130,000 mt/year.
