Novapet is likely to shut one of its two Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) units in Barbastro. A source in Spain informed a team member, “The company is expected to start maintenance at the smaller unit by the end of November 2025. The unit is likely to remain offline for about 45 days. Located in Barbastro, Spain, the smaller unit has a production capacity of 100,000 mt/year.
