Ningxia Baofeng Energy resumes operations at SM plant

Ningxia Baofeng Energy has restarted its Styrene monomer (SM) plant following a prolonged shutdown. A source in China informed a team member, “The company has resumed operations at the plant in early April 2026. The plant has been shut down for maintenance since February 21, 2024.” Located in Ningxia, China, the plant has a production capacity of 200,000 mt/year.
