Ningxia Baofeng Energy’s HDPE unit shuts for maintenance

Ningxia Baofeng Energy has taken off stream its High density polyethylene (HDPE) unit. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is reported to have halted its units around August 31, 2025, for maintenance. However, the exact date and duration of the shutdown remain unclear, and confirmation from an official source has not been obtained.” Located in Yinchuan, Ningxia in China, the HDPE unit has a production capacity of 400,000 mt/year.
