Nan Ya Plastics is likely to take off stream its No.1 Monoethylene glycol (MEG) unit in Mailiao. A source in Taiwan informed a team member, “The company is in plans to shut the unit by mid-October 2025 for a maintenance turnaround. However, details regarding the duration of the shutdown remain unclear, and confirmation from an authorized source is still pending.” Located in Mailiao, Taiwan, the No.1 MEG unit has a production capacity of 460,000 mt/year.
