Nan Ya Plastics to undertake planned maintenance at No.1 MEG unit

Nan Ya Plastics is likely to shut down its No.1 Monoethylene glycol (MEG) unit in Mailiao. A source in Taiwan informed a team member, “The company is expected to shut the unit on October 13, 2025, for maintenance. However, details regarding the duration of the shutdown remain unclear, and confirmation from an authorized source is awaited.” Located in Mailiao, Taiwan, the No. 1 MEG unit has a production capacity of 460,000 mt/year.
