Asian MTBE FOB Singapore up 38 cents/mt day over day at $671.51/mt on Sept. 5 and a cash differential of plus $1.49/b to the FOB Singapore 92 RON gasoline Mean of Singapore strip (15-40 days). China’s export discussions continued in the first week of September, with ongoing inquiries from Deepsea buyers and blenders in Singapore, said sources. Trades were heard concluded during the week at $628-$635/mt FOB China for October-loading materials, while offers stood at $635-$640/mt FOB China, a level widely seen as the breakeven range for some Chinese producers. Demand in the Singapore market is expected to improve with the latest gasoline tender in Southeast Asia.
