Mitsui Chemicals is likely to take off stream its Isopropanol (IPA) plant in Sakai. A source in Japan informed a team member, “The company is in plans to shut the plant by mid-October 2025 for a maintenance turnaround. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.” Located in Sakai, Osaka in Japan, the plant has a production capacity of 60,000 mt/year.
