Luberef to undertake maintenance at base oils unit

Luberef is in plans to take its Group II base oils unit off-stream. A source in Saudi Arabia informed a team member, “The unit is expected to be shut in August 2026 for maintenance. The maintenance is likely to remain in force for about one month.” Located in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, the Group II base oils unit has a production capacity of 883,750 mt/year.
