Lotte GS Chemical has taken off-stream its solvents plant in Yeosu. A source in South Korea informed a team member, “The company is heard to have brought the unit back on stream around August 28, 2025, following a turnaround. The unit had been shut for maintenance on August 7, 2025. However, this information could not be independently confirmed with an official source.” Located in Yeosu, South Korea, the solvents plant has a phenol production capacity of 350,000 mt/year and acetone capacity of 215,000 mt/year.
