Lotte Chemical to lower run rates at EVA unit

Lotte Chemical is in plans to curtail run rates at its Ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) unit in Daesan. A source in South Korea informed a team member, “The company is expected to run the unit at reduced capacity levels through November 2025. The reason behind the lower runs could not be ascertained.” Located in Daesan, South Korea, the EVA unit has a production capacity of 110,000 mt/year.
