Long Son Petrochemical to restart BD Unit

Long Son Petrochemical plans to restart its Butadiene unit (BD) following a prolonged shutdown. Sources in Vietnam told a member of the team that "the company is likely going to restart the unit during second half October 2025." The unit and an upstream cracker were shut down in mid-October 2024 due to a tepid outlook for demand and a contraction in production margins.
