Kingboard Chemical takes No. 1 Acetic acid plant off stream

Kingboard Chemical has shut down its No.1 acetic acid plant in Xingtai. A source in China informed a team member, "The company is heard to have halted operations at the plant around September 4, 2025 for maintenance. The duration of the shutdown has not been confirmed, and an authorized source was unavailable for comment." Located in Xingtai, Hebei in China, the No.1 acetic acid plant has a production capacity of 600,000 mt/year.
