Jinhai Chemical to resume production at HDPE unit

Jinhai Chemical is in plans to bring on stream its High density polyethylene (HDPE) unit. A source in China informed a team member, "The company is expected to restart the unit around September 16, 2025, following a turnaround. The unit was shut around July 28, 2025 for maintenance. However, this information has not been confirmed by any recognized authority." Located in Shandong province of China, the unit has a production capacity of 400,000 mt/year.
