Jiangyin Chenggao Packaging has shut two Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) units last week. A source in China informed a team member, “The company has halted operations at the units around January 17, 2026 for maintenance. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.” Located in Jiangyin, China, the two PET units have a production capacity of 1.2 million mt/year.
