IRPC to operate cracker at lower rates

IRPC is planning to run its cracker at curtailed capacity levels. A source in Thailand informed a team member, “The company is expected to run the cracker at reduced rates through December 2025. The reason for the lower run rates could not be ascertained.”Located in the Rayong province of Thailand, the cracker has ethylene production capacity of 320,000 mt/year and propylene production capacity of 200,000 mt/year.
