Inner Mongolia Sanwei takes BDO plants off stream

Inner Mongolia Sanwei has shut down its No.1 & No.2 1,4-butanediol (BDO) plants in Wuhai. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is heard to have shut down its plants around October 8, 2025, for maintenance. However, the duration of the shutdown remains unclear, and no official confirmation has been received.” Located in Wuhai, Inner Mongolia in China, the No.1 & No.2 plants have a combined production capacity of 300,000 mt/year.
