INEOS operates PTA plant at lower rates

INEOS is presently running its Purified terephthalic acid (PTA) plant at curtailed capacity levels. A source in Belgium informed a team member, “The company is operating at reduced capacity levels since September 2025. The curtailed operating rates were reportedly implemented to align with market conditions. However, no official confirmation has been provided by authorized sources.” Located in Geel, Belgium, the plant has a production capacity of 950,000 mt/year.
