Indorama Petrochemicals has restarted its Purified terephthalic acid (PTA) plant in Cilegon. A source in Indonesia informed a team member, “The company is heard to have resumed operations at its plant around October 9, 2025. The unit had been shut down for maintenance in the first half of August 2025. Confirmation from an authorized source could not be obtained.” Located in Cilegon, Indonesia, the PTA plant has a production capacity of 500,000 mt/year.
