The Indian toluene market remained steady Sept. 5, amid stable buying activity and domestic prices. the CFR India toluene cash differential as unchanged at FOB Korea plus $80/mt, below offer levels at FOB Korea plus $82-$85/mt. Toluene CFR India was assessed at $745/mt, stable day over day, amid steady FOB Korea values at $665/mt. “October offers are most likely to arrive from next week,” said a market source. Offers of FOB Korea plus $82-$85/mt and plus $85/mt were heard from two sellers during the Market on Close assessment process; however, no buying interest from Indian buyers was observed. “Lifting has been slow to stable this week, with not much change in demand,” said a trader. “We have not bought cargo yet and are in a wait-and-see mode,” said an end-user....
