Spot discussions in the Indian methanol market remained thin Oct. 30, amid limited spot offers and thin trade activity. In India's domestic market, Kandla, Hazira and Mumbai ex-tank offers were heard at 60-61 Indian rupees/kg, down 0.50 rupee/ kg day over day. India domestic methanol ex-tank Kandla price for 0-15 days forward delivery was at 59.50 rupees/kg, down 0.50 rupee/day over day. “There is a slight fall in domestic prices today amid some profit booking,” said a Delhi-based trader. “Amid incoming Diwali holidays, prices have softened a bit,” said a Mumbai-based trader.
