Huizhou Zhongxin Chemical has restarted its No.2 phenol/acetone plant in Guangdong. A source in China informed a team member, “The company has resumed operations at the plant around on August 30, 2025, The plant was shut since early- April, 2025 for maintenance. Verification from an official source was not available.” Located in Huizhou, Guangdong in China, the No.2 plant has a phenol production capacity of 280,000 mt/year and acetone production capacity of 170,000 mt/year.
