Hengli Petrochemical eyes turnaround at PTA unit

Hengli Petrochemical is likely to take off stream its Purified terephthalic acid (PTA) unit in Dalian. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is in plans to shut the unit starting October 11, 2025 for a maintenance turnaround. The unit is expected to remain offline for approximately two weeks. However, no official confirmation has been received.” Located in Dalian, China, the PTA unit has a production capacity of 2.2 million mt/year.
